Transmission front seal and gasket (if needed)

If you’ve pulled your engine and found a puddle gear oil in your bell housing, it’s likely the trans input seal and/or gasket. Replace it or risk contaminating your new clutch parts. 

Don't forget to put sealant back onto the housing bolts when you reinstall it. 

85-88 22R / 22RE uses both the seal and gasket

1986-1988 22RTE uses seal only, no gasket, silicone only 

1989-1995 uses only the seal, no gasket required, silicone only
