EGR Valve

Your EGR valve has been through a lot. The modulator port is plugged, the pintle isn’t sealing properly causing a miss/lean run condition. It’s also 25+ years old, and almost fully plugged up with carbon. Even though it passes the “vacuum test”, it’s still a possible that it is by-passing past the pintle. 

If you can’t clean yours properly or it fails the tests, you need one.
