Fan Clutch (Aisin OEM)

A bad fan clutch can be hard to diagnose. It can show up as “overheating” if it doesn’t lock up at the right time (or not at all), but can also be locked up at all times creating a “over-cooling” situation. When it’s always locked up it creates too much drag on the engine and can cause accelerated wear on your water pump bearing and poor fuel economy. We have chosen Aisin brand since we’ve found other aftermarket choices to be of poor quality that always seem to be “locked” causing excessive wear on the water pump bearing.
