This is the VSV bolted to your valve cover. It hooks to the A/C idle up diaphragm and it raises the idle slightly when you turn the A/C on to keep it from having a low/rough idle with the a/c on. Includes pre-cut vacuum lines attached.

if you've installed it and it makes a sucking/whistling noise? You have the vacuum lines backwards.

**HEY! 1988 guys! you’ll need to check the color and shape of the plastic of the actual VSV and order the one that matches yours. Toyota used both the 1987 and 1989 versions on the 1988 model years. You may need to re-use your mounting bracket on the new valve.
