not crispy and broken. unlike yours.
TPS harness connector
yours has seen better days. You lost that paperclip that holds in on, the plastic gave up the ghost a while ago….. Get rid of that zip tie and silicone “holding” it all together.
If you’ve read anything about diagnostics on my pages, you know how important the TPS adjustment is to the way your truck runs. When this connector is loose / broken / holding on by a thread, it’s effect diveabilty. You don’t want the connector falling off at the wrong time.
I’d recommend pulling the soldering iron out of the “unused in a long time” drawer of your toolboox to install it properly (i include some shrink tube) or go rogue and use the supplied crimp connectors included. Hey, I’m not here to harsh your mellow, so do what you feel is right. Just get the wires in the right spot.
Fits 1984+ SQUARE connector type only. Still trying to source the later version (the kind that doesn’t use the paperclip to hold it on)…
