I started back in the early 1990’s as a tech working on all makes of Japanese vehicles. After too many years of busted knuckles and dirty fingernails, it was time for something different.

Around 2009-ish me and Jim decided to start 22RE Performance with the idea of the best engine builds possible and the best installation parts to go with them.

I smashed a couple of keyboard keys, took some pretty pics and, like magic, the 22reperformance.com website was up and rolling. Jim built the best 22R engines available while I was always hunting for the best parts possible and taking care of customers with diagnostic help and installation tips.

Jim has since moved his machine shop to Red Bluff to concentrate on his engine builds and to be closer to his home and family.

I’m still here in Chico. Always on the hunt to bring you the best available parts and have expanded to selling parts for all generations of 4Runners from 1984 to 2027 (an LC250 Land Cruiser stuff too). I sell mostly OE and OEM factory parts or when I find something better, I offer those too.
