Replacing that ancient water pump? Replace the ancient hardware along with it.

Forget the unknown quality hardware store stuff with the oddball 11mm head on it. Factory Toyota hardware is the only way to go.

Anything even close to coolant is going to have some corrosion. Don’t risk breaking that last bolt when installing the new water pump (it’s always the LAST bolt, isn’t it?).
