throttle cable (genuine Toyota part)
Since yours is stretched, since your housing has broken at the firewall, since it has worn through the housing that has been rubbing on the valve cover, (when the last guy routed it wrong) you need one. A bad cable can cause poor throttle response, high idle, hard to push gas pedal.
OE part
**looks like Toyota may have discontinued some of the early EFI throttle cables now (1984-1986) and a couple random years that have cruise control. You can still call or email me your vin# and I can confirm if it is available for those years or not.
