I’ve seen these leak all sorts of ways. Corrosion build up under the hoses at the clamps, at the inside of the “U” bend, the outside of the “U” bend….. you get the picture.
Time, mileage, using worm drive clamps and over-tightening, coolant neglect (every 2 years, right?), using a wire brush to “clean it up” are all contributing factors to the failures.
Make it right and replace that rotted beast, you know it’s only going to leak more…
Fits 1984 to 1995 22R and 22RE
DOES NOT fit 22RTE. Toyota discontinued it a while ago. Very different configuration to clear the turbo, this one will not interchange.
