Replacing the clutch? Found a puddle of gear oil in the bell housing? This could be your culprit.
Well hidden behind the input shaft snout / bearing retainer plate is this seal. Hot gear oil and constant rotation make for a hostile environment for this seal.

HEY! don’t forget to reseal the threads on the bolts that hold the seal/bearing retainer plate on! If you don’t, you are going to have seepage / leaks again since the bolt holes are “open” into the trans and gear oil. Remember you had kind of a hard time pulling them out? Reseal them or get a factory fresh set with the sealant already on them HERE
